About us

Hi, I'm the voice behind Wholesome Tails Co.—well, one of them. The other voice (my husband) mostly provides comic relief, occasional tech support, and a steady supply of dad jokes.

My love for animals started early in life, when I first connected with horses. That bond taught me about patience, respect, and how to truly listen to animals. Eventually, I began sharing what I’d learned by teaching kids how to build their own meaningful relationships with animals.

Over the years, I’ve continued to grow in the world of animal care. I managed a feed store, where I dove deep into pet nutrition and ingredients, helping people make informed choices for their pets. Later on, I expanded my work to include farm animals as well, gaining a broader understanding of animal wellness across the board.

These days, I pour that passion into Wholesome Tails Co. I want this to be a space where fellow pet parents can find trusted advice and feel confident in the care they give. Our animals deserve long, healthy lives filled with tail wags, zoomies, and sunny naps—and so do yours.

At home, we share our lives with two cats, three dogs, and plenty of fur on every surface—and, if I’m being honest, I’m always one adorable rescue post away from adding another.
